Default Sport Seat Problem/Question

Just bought this 93 so I’m still learning about the features. It has sport seats and both of the seat adjustment work OK. When I press the switch on the inside bolster, I hear one click and that’s all . What should it do. Is this the bladder problem. Thanks for any help.

That one click is the pump trying to pump up the bladder. Inside the pump is a small "NICKEL" size rubber diaphram. If you remove the seat bottom "reach under the leather cover and feal for a steel rod" you can see the pump motor. Remove the end cover and the diaprham housing will slide out.

OK, thanks. It's not really a big deal. Hopefully, the spring will be here soon and I'll put that on my things to do list. Water leak is #1 on the list.

Both seats in my 92 were like yours, it took a whole pump on one seat and just the diaphram on the other. There is a thread on fixing the diaphram with a rubber glove but I chose to replace the bad parts. I don't use the inflatable part of the seats but I wanted everything to work and it was cheap and very easy to fix. I like the picture of the snow vette in your pictures!!!!

Thanks, that was about 6 or so years ago. Like you, I can't stand something that does not work and even if I never use that feature, I'll take a shot at it this spring.

There is another switch on the outside front corner of the frame under the cushion. It opens up the kidney bolster or squeezes you in if you are on the track.

The bolsters are not contolled by the bladder pump. They move in or out 15 degrees by the seat motor.
