hard steering
have 35th anniversary with I think as z52 rpo, the steering seems hard to turn, is this normal for this package, this is my first vette

Is it only hard to steer when you first start out in the morning, then get better as you go? If so, this is a common occurrence on high-mileage or aged steering racks -- it's called "morning sickness" and means you need a new or rebuilt steering rack. Also check the PS pump, lines, and fluid level.
