ZF Clutch Master question
I bought a ZF Clutch Master made of Cast Iron thats says it fits 1989-1996. I like the cast iron better than the stupid deep drawn tube tha tGM makes.
The 1996 version that I originally had used a formed black cup inside the reservoir.
The unit I ordered has only a black rubber seal in the cap, only @ 1/4" in depth.
Did they have different inserts for the early years as opposed ot the later years?
The thin seal AND the long cup seal will not fit in together.

the cup is designed to keep air from sucking in... I donno how you are going to make this happen, unless you transfer the reservour over with it.

Thanks,,, I guess I can give it a try,
I do have both the long cup and the short seal, but I will try the short seal 1st since it came with the new unit.

New and Old style ZF Clutch Master "cup" and seal
The new Clutch Master came with a short seal in the cap, but the fluid level marks on the reservoir are at the middle of the reservoir.
