more problems
oh my god another one closed whoopty doo. well anywayz since im on a roll i got another problem and im sure ill get some good help and some smart a$$es too and mojo will of course close this one down. But before that happens let me get started. I cut off the screen and blah blah.....fixed it loose wire....anywayz i took it out on a cruise. Came back home looked in the airway....rock dented the carberator flap....is this bad? oh yea vader dont bother posting.

thx in advance and i got some beers ready to watch another fight get started here.I don't really like to get into these things but I think if you'd mellow your attitude a little and let bygones be bygones, you might do better around here. You got off to a rough start but these things are fixable with time. Sometimes you just have to ignore people you've butted heads with and hope they'll do the same. I'm not pointing any fingers here, just a little friendly advice.

how did a rock dent the carberator flap?
Is this a carb'd automatic LT5?
Or do you not run an airfilter and were driving SOO fast that the rock/pebble/superbug flew up the air intake, hooked a 90-degree bend, traveled through your de-screened MAF without tagging a wire or heat sink only to THEN impact an open throttle blade so severely as to dent it and then magically travel through the valves, combustion chamber and exhaust manifold without causing any further damage?
Or am I missing something?

Without exactly getting involved, I'd advise you that it's pretty pointless to "bite the hand that feeds you" by insulting senior members and expect to be given a resolution and taken seriously. Moreover, why should these people take time away from their families to help you with your own problem (which doesn't pertain to 98% of the board anyway). If you're gonna throw insults at people before they even say anything, then i would make a friendly suggestion to take your cheap a$$ to your mechanic and let him figure it out, then again with your attitude I can see why you'd want a face-to-face confrontation

I should add that i don't even know who you are, only being on these boards for about 4 months myself, but with all the help and priceless advice I've gotten from this board, I couldn't sit by why you trash fellow enthusiasts
