Fuel smell
Hi. I'm brand new here. I'm also new to vettes. I got my first vette just about a year ago and I love it. Its a 96 LT4 6spd.
Once in a while when I walk around the back of the car just after parking it I catch a fuel smell. Not all the time just occasionally. The gas cap was replaced a year ago during a sticker inspection. There are no signs of fuel on the ground where I park the car. I don't smell it inside the car.
I do have some mechanical background and I have the factory manuals but I don't want to rip open the back unless absolutely necessary. Any info you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.
