Default Code 32 fix

My 85 Vette gives code 32 when at highway speed. I know that it's the EGR not getting enough vacuum because of my real dual custom exhaust.Does anyone know the fix to fool the ECM to ignore this signal
I saw this somewhere but cant find it now. THANKS

65Z01 has that on his site, I think .

On my car I ended up having a custom prom burned that eliminated that code.

What kind of voodoo, custom, exhaust, reduces vacuum??? Less restriction in the exhaust means MORE intake manifold vacuum. The best way to solve that problem, is to follow the trouble shooting steps in your factory service manual, for a code 32, and make the proper repair(s).

Odds are you have a $7 problem. You could fix it or pay someone hundreds of dollars to burn it out of the prom.

I don't know why people seem to think a lack of vacuum can cause this.I helped a guy last month who thought the same thing he was wrong as you are.You can delete the EGR and block it off and have your prom burned to ignore it or you can fix it as CFI said.Plan on spending around $200 to delete it.

There is a simpler way,by splicing in a resistor inline with the EGR sensor wire to compensate for the voltage difference, but I need to know the value of the resistor. As I said I saw it somewhere.

What ever ,lets see how long your car stays running with the attitude that things do not need fixed. You have been given the correct information you have a bad egr and no resistor will fix that and eventually you will get enough knock to blow up your engine.

I am sure that you saintly gentlemen are out to save the world all by yourself and are very busy patting your own backs. Try not to be such a smartasses next time and get off your holier than thou pulpit.I have managed for many years without your weighty advice, and will manage for many more.
