Default need some chip work...

I'm looking to have the VATS removed from my '86 chip. Also would like to have the EGR code removed. Might have the fans recalibrated but I can't go crazy as $$$ is tight as I approach the end of my project.

Who do you guys recommend and how much are we talking here?

thanks,

I have experience with a few of the so called tuners around here and Alvin, IMO is the best. If you desire to have details on my opinion PM me and I will give you more details of my experiences.

Assuming this is a 93 like your profile shows, It is under the hood on the drivers side. The ecm (computer) is a black box about 6x8x2 above the battery. Has a huge harness plugged into it. Take the 3 mounting nuts loose and flip it over. There is a cover, about 2in x 4in with 4 screws holding it on. Take those loose and you will see the chip.
