Remove the all the 7mm screws that are holding the aluminum inner door panel to the door. Unplug the harness connectors near the door handle. There is a 10mm bolt you'll have to unbolt on the rearward side of the aluminum panel. Slide the panel up or down to allow the top or bottom of the panel to come out of the door. Then continue sliding the aluminum panel to slide it out of the door. You don't have to disconnect the linkage. You may have to remove the lower wiring harness from the door. Squeeze the plastic retainer barbs so the retainer and wiring pop of the door. Once you get the majority of these connectors and wiring off the bottom of the aluminum panel you should be able to swing the aluminum panel away from the door so you can work inside. Lower the window so you can see the attachment screws that are holding the window to the regulator. Unscrew the 3 or 4 10mm nuts. Carefully disengage the window from the regulator and set it on the inner ledge of the door. You have to be careful not to knock the window off the ledge or it could fall and shatter. Removing the glass from the window requires that you remove the door rubber weatherstrip on top of the door. The weatherstrip I'm talking about is not the outer window glass wipe that's riveted on the door, it's the weatherstrip that seals the door to the door jam. The upper ends are glued on, screwed on, and pushed pinned on. Just remove enough so the window clears the upper opening of the door. Even after you get this far there is a part on the door glass that doesn't allow the glass to come out of the door. It's the black **** door stop. I've cut the door to let the window glass door stop slide past the door to remove the glass. Sometimes the door is already cut where this door stop needs to slip past. Removing the glass isn't necessary but is a little safer to prevent dropping the window in the door and shattering it. Once you get access to the regulator, reach down and disconnect the motor harness. Unbolt the regulator from the top and bottom of the door. You'll have to rotate the regulator as you're removing it to clear the opening in the door. Sometimes connecting the motor electrical connector and moving the regulator up or down is required to collapse the regulator enough to slip out the door opening. Just be careful moving this around if the window glass is just propped up on the innner door ledge. Once the regulator is out you can drill out the rivet and slide the old ribbon out. Clean the channel and lube everything. It's been awhile since I've done one of these so I may have missed something. I just posting off the top of my head. Good Luck.
