Need help w/code Non Corvette
I don't want to ruffle any feather's! My Ford 2000 Expedtion will intermittently stall during deceleration, when you are applying the brakes when approaching a light or stop sign. I just had the truck scanned and received a code P1450, manufacturer's control auxiliary emission control.
Can a member provide any input? My wife drives the truck with my two young daughters. I have the truck and my wife is driving my spiffy 2000 Plymouth Breeze! The problem is intermittent, but has the potential to be dangerous.
I'll probably have to take it to a dreaded Ford shop, but I have no other alternative.

Thank you for asking, I've been in the house sick the entire weekend, but I did go out to the car Saturday, popped the hood looked at the sensor, closed the hood and went back in the house! I've coughed so much my chest hurts! Don't laugh, at 46 it takes a little longer to recover! I hope to tackle it today,(feeling like a spring chicken!) From what I can see I'll have to splice the wire and attach the new one. I can hardly wait for the code 45 to pop up!
