Default Question on CR

OK I just found out that my 383 will be running a 10.5:1 CR with a stock thickness gasket and 64cc Chambers, but I will instead be using a Cometic gasket at .027 compressed thickness. I'm trying to figure out what my final CR will be. Anyone know how to figure that out?

At a rough work out it will be about 11.14:1 but this link will help you ........http://www.csgnetwork.com/compcalc.html

To many questions that I don't have answers to, I'd need a build sheet which I don't have. I'm guessing between 10.6-10.7:1 though, all were talking is going from a .040 to a .027 gasket.

yeah my guess would be no more than 10.75, which would still allow for pump gas

That sounds like a reasonable guess. The only information you are lacking is data on the gaskets. With that info, you can figure the difference in their volumes, subtract and re-figure the C.R. Simple? EH?
