1996 sterring knuckle ?

1996 sterring knuckle ?
Can anyone help me with a steering knuckle question. is there a difference for steering knuckles between 88-96 for the front steering knuckle. I bought a steering knuckle the other day and did a pretty extensive check on it using the local chevrolet parts dealer and the seller from e-bay but i think i may of still received some bad information, there was two numbers stamped on the part the first one is #14105147 LH wheni looked this up myself i got 88-90 yrs then the other number that was stamped on the part was #10098163 LH which is for a 91-96 yrs. am i in trouble with a wrong part 
i need a steering knuckle for a 96 front suspension is this the right or wrong one. Thanks in advance, Wally Dog
