This may be redundant to you guys but I've spent hours in archived threads and not found anything. The dash in my 89 coupe is a blur, there are no digits visible, until you look at the dash with polarized sunglasses on. Everything is working normal you just can't see them.
This isn't too bad in daylight but not good at night. Has this been addressed before? Help
Thanks Art

If the 89's are like my 87, there are 4 lamps that back light the LCD (liquid crystal displays) which allow you to see them. First, check the 3 amp instrument fuse which supplies power to the 4 lamps. Next, pull the dash cover off the cluster and you will see 4 round silver metal reflectors over the lamps. Pull these off and using masking tape, wrap the tape around the lamp and use a needle nose pliers to pull on the overlapped tape and measure the lamp with an ohmeter. You may just have burned out lamps.
