Speaker sizes for '88 w/Bose
Anybody have any idea the speaker hole sizes in an '88 w/Bose, and any idea where I can find out some more informatioin on replacing this system with something aftermarket?
Crutchfield has wiring harness's available but I'd like to know about swapping out the speakers first also.

Hi notbob. I just replaced my stock stereo and speakers with this pioneer system - http://www.carstereotime.com/pioneer/deh-p77dh.html . Pioneer speakers too. Two 6"x9" in the rear and two 6" in the doors. Sounds pretty great too - even without having an amp yet. I also replaced my whole antenna with a cool looking black one. Now I am going to put the stereo and bose speakers on ebay.

I live right now up in West Chester.
I was born & raised and lived my whole left in the hill, Western Hills that is.
West sider at heart and d@mned proud of it ;)
I'm looking to move to tri-county at end of oct when my lease is up as a company I'm contracting for right now is trying to hire me on perm (make it quick people I'm almost broke ;().
I work from home mostly but I do little meetings in tri-county all the time.
Isn't there also a speaker in the center too?
I'm wondering how much it's gonna cost to redo the whole system and how hard it is to run wires etc..., I need to get me a system working just to get by for now, so looking to go as cheap as possible as I have like 0 money left and I still have a lot of other goodie to fix too ;(
I want to find more 'vette people here in Cincy to talk to, I've only met 1 other 'vette owner, he was really cool to talk to and showed me a lot of stuff.
