As far as I am aware the PF 25 is obsolete ( I can't find any) .. and replaced by the 454.
The K&N 2002 is a nice filter with good flow that has a 1" nut on the bottom for aiding removal... but is pricey at about $14.
Mobil 1 also makes an extended life Filter M1 -111 at around $12
Napa Gold FIL 1069 at $5.99 works very well
The Wix filter gets ggod marks for flow and filterability at about the same price.
It is reallya bout a brand you trust and how much you want to pay.

The PF 454 was designed for 454 full size pickups with 4WD. It's about 3/4 inch shorter than a PF 25. It will work fine, I use one on my monte carlo to keep it away from the headers instead of a Pf35. I've heard there are only 1 or 2 companies that make the filters and everyone including delco just slaps their logo on them.
Napa Gold, made by Wix, most things I've seen by folks who cut open filters (way too much time on their hands?) show that Wix is one of the better, more filter material, metal pressure valve & more holes in the steel peforations area. I also seldom go a full 3K miles between Mobil1 changes.
