With mine I did not get a check engine light. I also pulled the fuse for the ECM. perhaps that is why I do not get a check engine.....never really gave it much thought. I pull the fuse everytime I mess with the ECM and this time I just left it out so none of the connectors that were unplugged got power.

Cool, out of curiousity, where did you mount your DFI unit?
Its ok, I was really just curious if you would need to leave all the original sensors and computer in place and just find places to hook the extra manifold temp sensors and other crucial sensors. Obviously you would need to ditch factory tps,O2,IAC,injectors ect. Just wondering if you would need to piggyback anything like water temp.
Is there an interface for a LCD screen that anyone makes besides mounting a laptop to watch the sensors?
I would think that the Accel monitering on a built in screen would be very cool. But i think you would have to use a laptop computer to interface with it.
Fujitsu makes a small knee board portable computer with an integrated display for aviators that may fit your application.
