front alignment shims
Anyone know where I can get them? And they are aluminum right? I found a guy who will align my lowered vette (dealer won't touch it) but he needs the shims...He said to get 1/8",1/16",1/32"

As far as I know, a front end alignment shim on a C4 is nothing special. I'm not an alignment person, but when I rebuilt my front suspension, the shims looked pretty ordinary, to me. I admit, I didn't take time to study them. My parts book only shows, 14047730, Shim, Strg Knu Upr Cont Arm (.030MM Thk. Quantity: As required.

Or at least real parts stores like Napa, Carquest, etc. An alignment shop might even give a few if you asked. Also, I'm sure any dealer would have them.
