87 Climate air problems (fixed)
Hi,
Yesterday I posted a question on fixing my Climate Control module because a Coke was spilled into it and the buttons all froze up from the sugar. I was given a couple of tips from the list and they were very helpful. I removed the module. Took it apart and took some pics along the way. This refurb is not for the faint of heart because the display and push buttons are not meant to be taken apart. The only items that are owner servicable are the 3 lamps. I took it apart anyway and it is fixed. I do not recommend this refurb unless you are willing to buy a new or refurbed unit it something goes wrong. In my case it worked just fine. If anyone wants a brief write up and the pics I will email them. Just PM me as I am not sure how to enter the pics on the list.

Good job Don, I'd not recommend it to someone not wanting to get creative on how to reassemble it, you have to break a dozen little melted tabs and glue it back.

Hi,
You got it dark blue. It must have worked for you as well. If it happens again I have some mini self tapping screws that will take care of the corners and the rest should be no problem.
