Security light in 85
I finally fixed my horn today in my 85. There were many things wrong but I think they are all fixed. After I replaced a blown fuse behind the center dash console I noticed the security light keeps flashing when the door is open. It goes out if the car is started or the door is closed. It is not a big problem but I just want to know if it is supposed to do this. I tried turning the key in both doors to disarm the alarm but it did not stop flashing. Is this o.k. or is there a problem? Thanks, Guy :confused:

i figure i would put my response down here and have the '85 guys keep on keepin on.
mine does it to, if you press the power door lock button, it goes on solid instead of blinking, once the door is shut, it goes out.....i guess thats how you arm the system????? :jester
