new comp. & wiring??????
i have a 91' auto with a 383 and i have had 2 different chips and i don't think either one is very good. i went to a shop and they said they could burn some chips but it could take up to 10 chip burns it get it right. they also said i could get a different wiring harness and newer computer that would cost around $1200. it would be alot fast to tune the car because they could do it as the car is dyno'd. instead of 10 chips and a couple of hours on the dyno. they said it could be done in about 20 minutes. if anyone knows about the wiring and comp. that they may be talking about? or if anyone has updated there odb1 i would like to hear from you. the shop said i would have no problem if a wanted to do some tuning later myself. i tried to use the datamaster for my 91 but it didn't work and i went thur a few different things with it and gave up. any info. would help thanks jeff
