I have a service engine soon light that goes on and off, the time that it has been staying on has increased more lately, and now the last time when the light came on the car would run rough, kinda like a miss or hesitation above 2000 rpm. And a couple of times when I left the car to warm up, I would come out to the car and the fans would be running and the car was no where near the temperature. I pulled codes and came up with nothing. The car has 110K miles and I haven't done much except normal maintenance. I replaced the radiator a month ago, and the clutch 2 years ago. And I have no idea about the previous owner. Thanks guys appreciate it.
Mine does that too sometimes. I went to the delearship and pulled the codes and nothing came up so we checked the fluids. The brake fluid was a little low so we added some and the light went off. Every time I go to this certain oil change place, there's a good chance the light will come on again. Check all of your fluids.
All the fluids are good, I don't think low brake fluid would make it run like crap, i'm just wondering if there is something that would cause the hesitation without throwing a code, but setting off the ses light. it only runs crappy when the light is on also.
Mine will normally come on at a sudden stop then take off or a long trip. The car doesn't seem to run any different. I can usually pull over turn the car off and crake it and the light goes out. Previous owner said that if used to do that with her and she got it checked out too at the Chevy place and they couldn't find anything either. But it's got to be something to make it come on.
