Brake Chirp - Front Driver Side
I replaced the pads on all 4 corners about 3 months ago.
Replaced the master cylinder also.
Properly bleed the system and have no problems w/ the brakes working to include the parking brake.
About a week later started getting a chirp from the drivers side front. Tore down and installed anti squeel on the pads, regreased the pin and all slide points. Reinstalled and chirp went away for about a week.
Tore down and pads are stuck good and tight to the caliper. Regreased pin and all slide points and the chirp tabs on the pads (small tab that sets on the end of the pad). Reinstalled and chirp went away for about a week.
I have been thru this process about 5 times now.
Chirp is now back again. I have done brakes on cars all my life and never had this problem before.
Any ideas as to why it keeps coming back. I have about decided it is the caliper not properly releasing but wanted ideas before rebuilding/replacing.
I will appreciate your help!
