Caliper Bleed Values
I want to do some break work on my 90 vett. The bleed values on both front calipers have the little rubber boots missing. I checked all of them to see if they could be turned. The right front won't budge. It has about one thread showing above the caliper the one on the left has about six. Does anyone have an idea how to get it loose without ringing it off? I don't want to buy two new calipers.

Carefully heat the bleeder with a torch, maybe a couple of times, it should pop loose then. Be sure and use a 6 point socket on it.
PS Russell speed bleeders are the best thing ever invented to make bleeding easier.

Thanks LT1GMC I might get frogey and try that this weekend. I think I will order the speed bleeders. I have used the Mityvac on my jeep.
