Take a look at the search function; there've been many posts about this. But, as a starter you can go easily to 9.5" all around. Or you can do 9.5" up front and 11" in rear with tire sizes of 285-40 front and 315-40 rear. Depending on the actual size of the tire, the 315 may or may not rub a little and it may stick out a bit from the fender in the rear.

I am looking to upgrade my tire size on my vette...what can I go to factory rims.....If I have to chg wheel size any suggestion?
More than likely you have the standard 17x8.5" F and 17x9.5" R wheels. If you want to stay on the cheap side then just find another set of 17x9.5" wheels for the front. This way you can run 275/40/17 or 285/40/17 tires all around with the added benefit of being able to rotate them. Good luck!
Is there any way to check the wheel size by finding a stamp on the wheel, etc. or is the only way to determine size by measuring the wheel once the tire is off the wheel? My wheels are the 5-spoke design.
