Default 1994 front end suspension

Hi guys. Please help. My hotrod is a 1994 with 34K miles which is used on weekends and at the local road track 3-4 times a year. My problems this time are that my ball joints (all 4) are leaking greese and the shocks are toast. There is also minimal cracking on the control arm bushings. This may be a dumb question but, do I have to replace my ball joints or can I buy dust boots to stop the leaking? If replacement is necessary, should I go with Ecklers Front End Replacement kit for $220 or shop around for some Mooge ball joints? Bushings? Next dumb question is: Can I upgrade my stock shocks by re-valving or do I need new, stiffer shocks.
Thanks alot for any help or ideas where to shop.

I just replaed my front suspension on my 90. Its all pretty easy stuff. Is there any signs of wear from your ball joints? If not Im sure you could call up Ecklers or Madvet and try and get only the rubber dust covers. If not dirt and other friction causing things could get in there and shorten the life. But with 34K on the car on only used on weekends I would think they would still be good, unless like I said there was obvious signs of wear. If you decide to take the ball joints out remember to get an alignment done afterwards.
About the shocks I would upgrade by buying new ones.

The ball joints seem to be fine except they don't hold greese. I see that Ecklers has a dust boot for sale, maybe I can get away with just replacing them? Thanks for the help.
