brakes, help
wierd thing going on, just started, left home yesterday, had plenty of brakes as usual, put brakes on but after a second, the pedal got spongy and went to the floor and the light came on on the dash. took my foot off pedal and reapplied brakes and plenty of brakes this time. all went well for a couple of days. then it heppened again just like before, brakes and then to the floor, reapply the brake and plenty of brakes. can anybody help, this is very unusual. just had wheel bearing replace and brakes replaced about 5 months ago. that is only repair near wheels. anybody help, thank you, jerry

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BEFORE ON A DIFFERENT CAR OF MINE. THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS BAD, BLEW A COUPLE OF SEALS. CHECK FOR PROPER BRAKE FLUID LEVELS IN THE RESIVOR, ALSO COULD BE A LEAK IN A LINE.

Do the usual checks but look and see if the back of the master cylinder is leaking into the vacuum booster, this happend to me,no leaks but was loseing brake fluid, had to replace vacuumbooster and master cylinder at same time.
