LT1 cooling system bleeding
I have a 92 LT1 and I just added a new 396 stroker motor. I am about to start the engine. What is the correct way to rid the cooling system of air. Is there any tips or tricks you can share? How do you keep water off the engine and opti when bleeding?

With the radiator cap off, bring up to temp. This is the tricky part---With your left hand, add coolant 50/50 mix and with your right hand, rev the engine to about 2000 rpms. Keep adding coolant until full. Then with your left hand put down coolant container and put radiator cap back on. Works every time.
