Door hinges ?

Door hinges ?

Anyone replace them?

My doors seem to be hitting the striker studs, can they be adjusted back up or is it best to replace the hinges on an 85?

I would only replace the hinges if the door sags and thats whats causing it to hit the striker. Otherwise it could be that your striker is bent. Check both of those first.

Yeah, I want to have the car painted this fall and I guess I will go ahead and replace the hinges now.

I have seen the pin and a bushing kit available at either Ecklers or Corvette Central if I remember correctly. Have someone raise the door and see if there is any play in the hinge pin area.
