My parts book doesn't show the spring rates and only goes to 1990. The two codes I could add are for up to 1990 and based on the applications given.

How come you don't have 84 on your list?

CentralCoaster the chart is great for relative comparisons. Do you have cross references that list the codes with respective lbs/in specs?

No sir, but if/when you find the code info, feel free to add that to my chart.

Be careful when comparing just spring rates. What matters is wheel rate, the effective spring rate at the wheel. The 84-87 front suspension is quite a bit different from the 88-96 front suspension. Due to the difference in "motion ratios", a spring for an earlier car has a higher wheel rate than the same spring on a later car. FWIW.

Correct, the mech advantage of the front springs changed in 88. And they aren't interchangeable.
