Best source for LT1 water pump, maybe opti?

Best source for LT1 water pump, maybe opti?
I am gonna change the pump myself. Is there a better source than the local Chevy dealer? Opti seems fine, but what about a source for that should I need it.

Try http://www.tld-corvette.com and http://www.carparts.com. Both places have prices below what a dealer will charge. You may also need to get a new temp sensor if you are unable to remove the one old the old water pump.

I picked up my water pump from the dealership for $150. It was the LT-1/LT-4 replacement pump. It works fine. Don't remember the part number, but it's the same one that you see on the GM Performance Parts website. Good luck, and replace any worn hoses while you got the thing apart. Also do a good flush and fill, it will pay off down the road.

Again, thanks for the help. Ordered one from The Last Detail, which was cheaper than carparts. MUCH cheaper than Burt Chevrolet in Denver which has a huge parts warehouse. They want $265!
