I don't know what would make it come on while driving, other than a loose wire connection. If it comes on sometimes when you start the car one of the gears in the shock/actuator might be slipping. That happened to me. The gear on the shock was broken, sometimes it would hold during the self test when you start the car, sometimes it would not.
Just sent my left front shock actuator to Aaron in Wisconsin,
who rebuilds them. Usually it's the plastic piece that cranks
on the shock, could be the nut on the shock also. I will let you
know.
I had a computer diagnosis done at the local Chevy shop
that diagnosed were the problem was.
