Default Flywheel dilemma

Received my new SM flywheel and measured the amount of material that will have to come off. Put my guage on the flywheel and marked the amount that will be machine off. The problem I noticed was that from the factory this flywheel was drilled, I guess for balance, on the back side. The amount of material that was removed will not make it possible for the .090 to be removed to fit properly The balance holes on the back are pretty deep, Damn....Is .090 the magic number or is there an tolarance that I can play with. Or, am I stuck....

Thanks,
DJ

Well, this morning I traded flywheels with a friend. After we measured the balancing holes in mine there really wasn't much material left, after the removal of .090. With the depth of these holes, 10 in all, I kinda error to the side on safety and just traded flywheels. His flywheel had no balance holes drilled, I guess it was just my luck to get that one.

DJ
