Hey guys, I'm doing the ZF6 install for the first time and I need to bleed the clutch. I looked at the slave cylender and the bleed valve is at the 10oclock pisition(which is kida weird since I thought this was out of a '93) But when I looked at where a screw should be there's nothing. Just a flat copper colored plate with a hole in the middle. It didn't look like there were any kind of threads or allen head inside the hole.
So now I'm pretty well confused as to what I should be doing to bleed the system. Am I missing the screw or does this plate turn some how. Thanks for the advice guys.
I am not 100% sure of what you are looking at (where the screw should be - you mean the bleeder screw?).
My slave cylinder has the "port" for the bleeder screw in the 6:00 position. (Stupid for the top down method of bleeding, but great for injecting from the bottom up, which I do).
Anyway, this "port" is welded (I think) to the actual slave cylinder. It is about 1/2" long and has female threads inside it. The bleeder screw screws into it.
