Lt4 to L98 dash compatibility issues

Lt4 to L98 dash compatibility issues
Has anyone experienced a compatibility issue when installing a Lt4 dash into a L98.
I bought one recently and here is what it looked like when I installed it.
All the gauges worked correctly but as you see the digital dash part isn't quite up to snuff.

If I remember right, f.member -=jeff=- did that I believe he also changed ccm........I like the way you think 
I was thinkin a zr cluster myself. It looks like it is hooked up.....gettin a little busy out there are you?

Yes the 90-91 LCD is different then the 92-96 LCD. The data stream coming from the CCM is different. The easy fix is taking the LCD out oif the 90-91 cluster and installing it in the 92-96 cluster. That is what I did on my 91 dash conversion. Works great.
Now when you first turnt he key everything lights normally but that is because the Blanking Contorl that does that is the same for both clusters..

Thanks Jeff, that was the answer I thought could be possible. I already did that. It does work, I was just curious if the cluster I bought had a puked LCD.
MSeven, yep, I put insurance on the car for the weekend. One thing the warm weather guys won't know is how good it feels to drive a car for the first 5-10 minutes every season. Friday was a good time. Today wasn't too bad either.
