I have the ZEXS wet kit on my LT4 & I love it , 125 is as high as the ZEXS kit goes..I also bought the MSD digital 6 plus ignition box to retard the timing a must..

Don't have one yet but will here shortly and Zex will be my choice as well. Since we ca't spray more than 125 safely on the LT4s without some major mods; I see no need for a big, better, more expensive kit. Other kits work great and might even be better in some respects, but the zex is a real easy plug and play and you can't be the price. IMO

I like my Barry Grant kit but 125 shot is a bit much to handle.
I would stick with a 100 shot and power it off the line.It will go low 12 with no problem,Don't have to worry about retard that way.

I have a 85 with a L98 383 stroker. I'm planning to buy a nitrous system this monday, but not quite sure which one is the best to go with. NOS seem to have a good system over ZEX and Nitrous Express because of the throttle body plate. Could someone give me some feed back on the three?

Go with a wet kit....a good basic kit with some valuable safety features like a fuel pressure safety switch and a window switch should be around $550 or $600....IME, the safe limit on a low mile stock internal LT1 and LT4 is a 150 shot......Back when my motor was stock, I ran the NOS factory jetted 150 shot for over 6 years without any problems....bone stock with the bottle the car ran high 11's.....I would'nt run more than a 100 shot on a motor with the miles you have........Another nitrous brand option is Harris speedworks, they have some very good quality kits (as good as any)and great customer service...I believe they have a sale running on their single nozzle wet kit right now.do a search for them if you like....good luck........Joe

I have a Nitrous Express wet kit and I love it. They have a lifetime guarantee on the solenoids, if you compare them to NOS you'll see a huge size difference. The plate kits look cool but a single NX nozzle works better. The NX piranha nozzle sprays the 950psi N20 right into the fuel stream which helps atomize the fuel. A plate system uses 2 bars, so it doesn't mix the gas and nitrous as well.
