in my 89 the ac is digital. when i looked in the corvette central catalog i see that there is ac unit for my 89 that is just slide switches can you use this unit instead of the digital unit will it have the same connector??
it is not practical to go from electronic control to manual control. Most of the problems is not in the control unit, but rather in the programmer, which is located near the brake pedal. To replace the programmer, it costs in the neighborhood of $3-400.00. Usually all the programmer needs is replacement of 2 resistors (49 cents for two at Radio Shack). There used to be a post on how to replace the resistors. I did it, and it took no more than 20 seconds.
