Won't start....won't do much at that
I tried to start my vette today and got nowhere fast. First I disarmed my alarm, got in the car, put the clutch to the floor and turned the key....lights went on inside the dash for a second and then nothing. Clicked the key back to off, took key out and repeated process. This time absolutely nothing. I re-armed and disarmed the alarm begging the GM gods to make it work. Still nothing. Needless to say I checked battery connections and everything was fine (alarm was working) but nadda. I recently bought a chip from mid america so I un-installed it and reinstalled my prom by itself. Still nothing.... Any and all input is greatly appreciated as my vette was scheduled to go back on the road this friday...

After thinking about this long and hard I decided to take a crack at starting it again. I started the same procedure like before.....but this time when I disarmed my alarm it make a very odd noise. A struggling chime...Right away I disconnected the alarms power lead from the battery. When I got it off I noticed a huge amount of corrosion 
. I cleaned it up and reconnected it. Got in the car and BOOM.....Time for drinks 
. I feel foolish :o for not paying better attention....a lesson learned I guess.
