Default LT1, anyone relocated their ASR control?

I've got a bunch of space opened up by relocating the battery to the rear and would love to put the ASR control there so I don't have to unbolt it every time I change plugs or etc. The only problem I see is getting a longer cable from the pedal and possibly a longer one to the TB. The one to the cruise unit should be fine. Just wondering if anyone else has contemplated or done this.

Why he put it in the spare tire carrier but what I want to know is where did you run the cables so that they don't interfear with the exhaust?

I put the battery in the right rear storage compartment after relocating the receiver to the left one. The negative cable runs under the carpet, along the side at the console. The positive is encased in heater hose and is routed where the fuel lines are, under the rocker panel.
