Default master Cylinder Question

Can you plug the rear brake output port on the m/c and still have the fronts work? I was thinking that I could install a small valve to eliminate the rears for burnouts and launches at the track. I realize that I could use a linelock but thought that this might be another way to go, easier and cheaper. Thanks for any input, Robert

You could ,but the tech inspector may not let you race,if he catches it.
A line lock is easier and safter.
If you are turning off your ride control. And you learn how to push down on the break and let up for a second and apply it again the back brakes after a certian rpm should unlock the breaks anyway.

You can but do you want to. When you get to speed, you might have trouble stopping your run. Just my .02

If you have to use the brakes on the strip you'll be sorry. The rears make braking way more stable and of course reduce your stopping distances.

Thanks guys, I figured it wasn't the way to go, but couldn't think of all the reasons not to. You have enlightened me on why not to do it. Robert
