A few weeks ago I went down an exhaust shop that was recommended to me by a good friend from the forum. I wanted my TPIS headers, y-pipe and Catco cat installed on my 87. I purchased the headers through the forum and was told they were for an L98 Vette. Well the install went ok but upon closer inspection I noticed some holes didnt match up to the heads?! No, not the headers bolt holes but lil holes near the top on the headers. Hard to expalin but I'll post a pic in a few hours.
Here is the setup that was installed. The collectors were a lil short due to them beaing cut off the previous car/pipe so they needed some extra tubing mated to the TPIS y-pipe. The exhaust shop did an excellent job on all the welds and am VERY PLEASED with their work. They are worth every penny
Are you talking about the small dia holes for attaching the stock spark plug wire looms? I had to use shorter mach screws so they wouldn't pass all the way through the header flange.

That is what Im talking about. There is enough thread for the looms but are they supposed to line up with the heads?
Thanks guys, I was just concerned with the header loom holes NOT lining up with the heads, seemed odd. I dont use looms anyways but was wondering why they were off
