Default Injector size?

I bought a used TPIS Big Mouth set up with large runner and a ported plenum that came with orange tipped SVO injectors (at the seller said they were SVO's). Anyone know the pressure rating for these? Are there markings on the injectors that I can use to decipher the rating? Just curious before I go spend more money, but need to know before I put the blower on.

I have a set of FMS (Ford Motorsports) injectors that have the orange caps, and they are rated at 38 lb/hr. I am concerned about judjing the injectors flow rating by the caps, because they could be changed quite easily. Do you have any numbers off of the sides of the injectors?

The numbers are: F1ZE-C2A. I found out that these are DENSO 19# injectors. Not sure if my factory injectors will be able to accomodate my blower installation, but these certainly won't. I'm running a Walpro 255 pump, and 9lbs boost (from MrNuke, I haven't installed it yet). The manual from Carroll Supercharging suggest that the factory injectors are adequate...but that was 20 years ago.

Keep in mind if the carroll kit used a fmu, then the pressure was upped during boost.

There is no fmu with the kit. I've made intake and rocker changes so far, with FPR and header installation next on the to-do list.

Thats interesting. I called vortech on a kit for my LT1 and they include 24lb injectors with the kit but they use a fmu. I talked to a tuner who advised me to use 42lb injectors if a fmu was not used.
At any rate, sorry to be getting off track of your orig. post.

Well...I just picked up a set of 24lb FMS injectors to be safe. The stockers looked fine, but we certainly don't need to be running out of dead dinosaurs with 9psi of boost on tap.
