I figure the tires have 13,000 miles on them and are 5 years old, I've driven roughly 3000 miles between the before and after. I never looked at the inside of the tires before, so there is a possibility that they were wearing like this before I got the car, but is there a chance that 3000 miles with the before settings would make uneven tread wear. I've did my share of burnouts and made four passes at the track, but I don't feel they have been abused. The tires were very low on air when I got the car one tire had 8 pounds of pressure in it and I didn't catch it because it didn't look flat (I'm an idiot), but it was really only driven 400 or 500 miles like that. I've been told I can expect 25 to 30000 miles out of a set of Z rated tires, is this true. The tires also seem to be wearing in the middle but, my dad's 95 did the same. Why is my steering wheel not in the right position?
Thanks for your guys input.
