Engine Builder Wanted
I live around the St. Louis area and was hoping to get some info on a shop the specializes in engine rebuilding. I have a 35th Anniversary that I'm in the process of "restoring" and wanted the engine work done while I was working on the rest of the car.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I from the same area and there seems to be not many places that works on corvettes. The two corvette shops around the area that i know of Just Corvettes and Rays Corvettes. Hopefully that will help you.

Have you been to Just Corvettes? It's basically a huge Corvette salvage yard...I wasn't that impressed with them and am not sure I want them to do the work. I haven't talked to anyone who's had work done by them.
I don't know Ray's Corvette. Where are they located, and would you have the number?

Bottom line is that it's a Chevy. Take it to any mechanic your comfortable with.
Last I heard, Ray was doing some work from home but that's it.
I personally like doing that sort of stuff myself

the vette shop, in warminster Pa is the place you are looking for.
their web site is ( the vette shop ). they have my car right now. they just installed my s/c lt4 with a 4l80e trans. this place is top of the line.
port pros in tx is a great place for head work also. the vette shop can do anything you want. ask for john tell him i said to call. trust me with this one anything you want.
