Fusible Link Amp Rating
Can anyone tell me the amperage rating of the fusible link located at the starter?
While checking my spark plugs I noticed that my link is showing signs of heat distress from the #8 header pipe. I plan to change it before I end up getting stranded.

Fusible links are sized according to the gauge of the wire they are
to protect, rather than by amperage.
Take a look at this thread for more information that may be helpful.
When you buy fusible link wire, it is sold by the guage it is intended
to protect. In other words, if you pick up a piece of "12GA Fusible Link"
material, then strip off the insulation and measure the conductor with
an AWG - it should physically measure 16GA.
Since you are concerned about the FL for the starter, here is another
