Cut Lid Question L-98
In some of the posts, the members talk about "cutting the lid" for the air cleaner box to pull in more cold air. Where is the section cut? At the fan shroud?

Take off the air lid, and cut a big square hole in it exposing the entire filter surface, then bolt the lid back down.

You dont touch the filter housing that is bolted to the radiator, only the lid attached to it that covers the filter.

I'm still learning to navigate the site so bear with me -
By the lid do you mean the box holding the air filter that is removed with thumb screws? If so, cut the top (exposed side), or bottom?
