Default 383 w/92 TPI = tuning

I just have a few general questions about this setup.

Can the 92 ECM use an AT29C256 chip?
I used that chip in a turbo honda and the ease of erasing was awesome. If the TPI ECM can use it that would be wonderful.

This engine has alum Trick Flow heads and high comp. Is a TPI intake going to limit the power output? I have read that its good up till about 4500rpm or so. Comments are appreciated!

The 92 used an LT1 intake, not TPI (on the Corvette) and it is good for higher RPM's than the TPI (6k or so).
I'm not absolutely sure but, I think you can use your chip in the early LT1's.

No, TPI and LT1 are 2 completely different animals. Do a google image search for LT1 and then do one for TPI system and compare them.

gotcha long intake runners vs short internal runners. That explains the RPM difference.

So I have a TPI setup. Just out of curiosity could a LT1 intake be used? I know LT1s have backwards cooling. and the opti spark issue.

I guess you could make provisions for a distributor but seems that the effort put into it may suck.

this is a 92 TPI setup.

Good link. 400 for a completed intake isn't too bad.

this cam is designed for mid rpm up till about 6k so I think the Lt1 intake would be better suited.
