Base Idle Problem

Heres the problem, normally can set the base in my sleep, but now the car waits to reach 203 degree's before low idle sets in. Never had this happen before. Just cleaned the IAC and throttle body several days ago. Any Suggestions?

Re-do the IAC and TPS calibration again. Check the tech tips section if your uncertain of the procedure but this should get you going again. Good luck!

I have an 85 as well and mine used to have the same problem. The problem then got worse and it would never settle down to idle. Then it developed an unstable idle. My problem turned out to be the cold start timing sensor on the front of the engine. It is temperature controlled through the cooling system. Unplugged the cold start injector and all problems went away. It was hard to start at first but ran fine after that. I replaced the sensor and the car went back to normal.
