Default Code problems eliminated on 86

I got up this morning and ,(it took me a while), but I found the MAF connector coming from the ECM. That thing was buried underneath the main harnesses. Used a coat hanger to pull it up to my fingers. Connected it and cleared the codes. Now I have no no codes to show up. I went from 4 codes to 0 codes. The car still idles up and down, but I still have some vacuum issues. But the car still smells rich. Any suggestions? Couldn't have fixed the codes so quickly if not for you guys

Measure the fuel pressure after the ignition is off and see if it falls rapidly. If so, you may have leaky injector/s. Look at all of the vacuum lines for leaks and repair.

Thanks jfb, I have checked my pressure and it holds steady at 40 psi with engine running and after is off. The vacuums probably contribute to the rich exhaust, but wouldn't figure that much. I just thought they mostly throw off the idle.
