Lt4 Muffler Question

Well I Got my car finally

I missed having a vette, Anyways, Its 100% stock and although thats fine for now it is WAY to quite for my liking.... I was thinking about just doing away with the mufflers, only problem is I have to pass wisconsin emis. Is there any way it will pass with the mufflers replaced with a straight pipe? If I leave the cats/headers a lone? Thanks guys

As long as you leave the cats/manifolds alone and just eliminate the mufflers you should be fine. That'll make her louder...although you can also go w/ a performance muffler which will also beef up the exhaust note. For a '96, Magnaflow makes a great muffler/s only system. That's what I have on mine...

hmmm one more question, anyone make a single tip exhaust or elim? I know borla makes the stinger for up to like 91 vettes but what about a 96? I love how the 2 single cans/tips look.
