Default Need wire and wire loom suggestions

What are you guys using to keep your wires nice and tidy? I've seen a few pics of engine bays on here that I liked the way the wires were run. I've got perimeter bolt valve covers and would like something that mounted somewhere to insure they don't slide around and get against headers.

What wires are you guys running. Not looking to break the bank here either. Main thing is they are the correct length. I have a set of el-cheapos on there for now while getting the kinks worked out so if I burn one on the headers I don't care. Problem with these (other than cheap construction) is that some of them are terribly long. I either need a set that are the right length with no slack for each plug or is it possible to make your own by buying the wire and putting the ends on them?

I have msd 8.5's (custom to cut your own length) and taylor looms. Seem to work well without touching or burning the way I have them set-up, and also allow for ease of working. (see "my corvette photos")

So you cut your own length wires? How did you attach the ends? Does Summit have these or if not where did you purchase them? From the looks of your pics thats what I need, atleast as far as wires go, gonna think about the looms since they aren't bolted down.

Yes I cut them and put the distr. ends on. The MSD wires are from SUMMIT. They come with the spark plug ends on, 2 style of distr. ends, crimping tool and directions. After you do a couple you'll be a pro. The wires are at least a foot longer than what you see, and also come w/a remote coil wire (about 2 1/2' long) I haven't had any issue w/the wires not being bolted down. Those wires, while pliable are pretty stout, and on mine are supported by the top of the wiper and the looms (which hold them together well).
