Code 32 And Real Rich Smelling Exhaust
I Have A 91 L98 6 Speed And Well Im Having Trouble Finding My Problems. Im My Book Its Saying That The Egr Valve Is Not Working Correctly. My Car Is Basically Stock . No Converters. Hotter Coil &wires.ive Only Had This Car For A Couple Of Months And Its Been Wrong Ever Since Ive Had It. Ive Checked The Fuel Pressure Its Fine ,good Spark . Any Ideas Before I Start Changing Parts? And Is This A Common Problem With The L98 Engine?

Sounds like your EGR is not opening. Try applying vacium to it while checking to see if the diaphram moves and if it will hold a vacium. If these check OK then test the EGR selenoid to see if it is switching vacium to the EGR.

If Morley says there's no EGR switch on a 91-take it to the bank-no switch. Joslinm, don't know about an 85, but on my 87 it's on the passenger side of the motor close to the back and by the pipe.You may want to check your EGR solenoid also.
